Holiday Hero has been defined and developed as a cutting edge platform that allows hosts (private hosts or hotels) to digitize and automate all guest interactions beyond the booking. The main purpose of the app is to become a guests’ go-to-guide and their digital concierge that supports them during their stay.

The main pillars of the Holiday Hero concepts are to: increase customer loyalty, earn additional revenue, save time on customer management and streamline operations.

The Challenge

The traditional small property management used to be a highly offline experience, involving a lot of time spent on day to day operations and guest management.

The pandemic and the emergence of digitalisation in the last few years, has created a need for the relation between property owners and their guests to happen in a digital context, while maximizing the benefits of the experience for both parties.

Our approach

Using our technical expertise, we established the groundwork for the property managers to easily run their day to day operations, while also offering their guests incentives and easy ways to access information about the property and its amenities and to request additional services offered by the properties themselves or by local partners.

On the other hand, a traveler can manage his travel party and invite additional party members. This approach has allowed the property owners to earn additional revenue, promote their offerings through in-app marketing announcements, persuade their guests to spend more and at the end of their stay, to increase the guests loyalty, engagement and willingness to recommend the host.

Management of bookings

A guest has a complete overview over all of his bookings and can easily manage all of them. A user can easily navigate between past and upcoming bookings and see all the relevant details about the upcoming, as well as the past ones. My Party

A user is able to invite his travel companions to use the app, while the new user can benefit from the same offers, recommendations and deals.

Detailed property profile

A guest will benefit from detailed directions to the property, such as maps provided by external apps such as Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze. The host is also able to share with their guests detailed listing guides and amenities, with instructions on how to use certain amenities, as well as offer several options to contact the host, at any time.

Experiences based on location, preferences or budget.

A traveler can select from an extensive list of additional services (upsells) offered by the property or recommendations for partner services (restaurants, boat trips, Safari etc), based on his location, preferences and budget.

Hosts custom branding

Hosts can personalize their app experience by choosing the corresponding colors based on their internal branding, thus offering the user a highly tailored and immersive experience.

Crafting a Premium, Calming Digital Concierge Experience

The design was driven by a clear vision: to create a premium digital concierge that elevates the guest experience, making it seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free.

Our goal was to develop an app that is not only functional but also delightful to use. To immerse users in the vacation experience from the moment they open the app, we focused on visual blends and clear instructions. To convey a sense of luxury and exclusivity, we opted for a premium design. This also involved the creation of custom icons and graphics designed to match the overall aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the app.
