Well, we’ve done it again. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating our position as Clutch’s #1 B2B service provider in the country in 2020. Now, we’re celebrating once again, as the leading market research firm released its updated ranking for 2022 – and we’re still at the top of the list, for the 4th year in a row!
We couldn’t be more proud of each and every member of the Tapptitude team, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the effort and passion they put into their work every day. This milestone is truly the celebration of a team effort, and no matter how many times Clutch recognizes our achievements, it never gets old!
Being named the #1 B2B service provider by Clutch, four years in a row, confirms that our way of work is meaningful for founders who are looking for a partnership with a studio like ours as a reliable way to build and launch a product. Founders who chose to work with us already knew they needed to work with an external partner to get their product off the ground. The added benefit is that they got a product partner that was as invested in their success as they were.
This focus on delivering value is all based on this amazing TappSquad. They’re doing their best work every day, and we wouldn’t be number #1 if they weren’t the best team.
I’m thankful to the team who show up every day to do their best work for the products we’re responsible for, and to our clients, who entrust us with their vision.
Why being on Clutch’s list matters in 2022
But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk about why this ranking matters so much to us. What Clutch does with these B2B rankings is that it selects market leaders, based on a variety of criteria, including expertise, delivery, quality, and professionalism. The companies featured on these lists stand out not just through their technical expertise, but through their ability to constantly and consistently deliver high-quality services for their clients. Besides technical and professional prowess, Clutch’s criteria also includes factors like online presence, and awards and reviews received on their website.
We’re proud to say that we’ve managed to land on a few important Clutch rankings in the past – we were named one of the 1,000 best B2B service providers in the world and the #1 provider in Romania in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Not to (further) toot our own horn, but we also have a 5-star rating on our Clutch profile, which is also important to us, since the rating is based on independent reviews from people who’ve actually worked with us.

How did we get here?
Getting to the top of a ranking like the one released by Clutch is not as easy as it might seem. It takes more than just product know-how and impeccable coding skills – it also takes passion, commitment, and dedication – things that, luckily, our squad at Tapptitude knows a lot about.
I’m happy to see the work that we do being recognised, and for me personally, it’s just another confirmation of the good work that the Tapptitude team has done – and continues to do. It’s great to be part of a team that successfully helps clients deliver value to their users. Seeing the products that we build make an impact for their users is the best confirmation that a team can receive.
This recognition by Clutch serves to validate our way of doing things, which is different than how most mobile app development agencies work. Our focus is always on de-risking products through constant iteration, to ensure long-term success and avoid failure and excessive spend – as much as we can. This industry can be unpredictable at times, and there’s no 100% way of knowing whether a new product is going to thrive or fail. But we make it our mission to do everything we can to validate – or invalidate – a product idea before launch, and to eliminate as much of the risk as we can.
The only way to properly do this is to work with the client as a true partner, researching, testing, (in)validating, pivoting, and improving together, every step of the way. Most of the time, a new client will have their ‘aha’ moment with us when they realize that we’re fully committed to their success and willing to work with them just as an internal team would, sharing our expertise and processes with full transparency. This is where our way of work truly shines.
I think that there is still room in this space for companies that bring real value to their clients, and I’m really happy to see young people leading and working at great companies that move away from an outsourcing mentality. What I think helps us stand out is the experience that we got over the years working on different verticals, and launching successful products for our partners. Because we truly are product partners for our clients, and many founders consider us an extension of their internal team. That’s the highest compliment we can get, really.
Don’t worry, we’re not resting on our laurels just yet
The fact that Clutch has named us the top B2B provider in Romania for the fourth year in a row doesn’t mean that our work here is done. These milestones motivate us to keep doing the best work we can and to keep building successful products that have a real impact on people’s lives.
We’re aware that our name wouldn’t even be on this list if it weren’t for all the amazing people who make up the TappSquad. We’re currently a global team with 4 offices worldwide, and have been working remotely with our clients before remote work was a thing. And we’re proud to say we’ve still maintained our vibe for an open team, where speaking up gets small and big things sorted.
