The hard truth we in the mobile development industry are all painfully aware of is that managing lots of data within a mobile product can be difficult sometimes.
One of the challenges we met during the project was the need for the application to work offline, which of course is not a problem per se. But downloading tons of data on a mobile device is, so we had to find ways to optimise the process. Another interesting point in the software application’s development was the integration with Vias’ Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP, their business management software.
