We know it’s not always a good thing to brag, but sometimes, this one included, you’ve got to appreciate your wins. Case in point: the #TappSquad is now a part of the Pangea.ai community, where we’ve now joined the ranks of the top 7% app development agencies in the world. This is an important milestone for our team, and we’re aware of its significance, given the fierce competition and the number of incredible mobile app development agencies that are doing amazing work across the globe. So, how did it all go and what have we learned in the process?
Going through the Pangea verification process
Going through the Pangea verification process was a great opportunity for us to take a step back from our immersive daily work, and make sure that we’re doing the right things, for the right people, for the right reasons. We chose to go through this process because we wanted to join an awesome community and get a transparent assessment of our way of work and our maturity. The result, for us, was further proof that our approach to become a product partner is one that works, and it works for us, our culture and our existing clients.
Pangea’s verification process was thorough and it covered various levels, which helped us get a clearer picture of the workflow at Tapptitude. We always encourage founders we work with to evaluate the agencies they talk to, and look at their processes, their portfolio, their technical expertise, and much more. Seeing all of these things reflected back at us in Pangea’s verification process gave us confidence that we’re joining a community that’s strongly aligned with our own core values.
What’s more, the verification process allowed us to step back from our busy day-to-day tasks and take a closer look at our processes, our portfolio, and our expertise from an outsider perspective. We got to ask ourselves some important questions, like ‘what are we doing well, and which are the areas that need improvement?’ We want to keep doing well, and keep improving our workflow and processes to serve the needs of both our clients and our team members.
With this crucial validation from Pangea, we hope that both our current partners and prospective clients will have the confidence to work with us and trust us to bring their products to market.
Lessons learned and looking forward
The verification process with Pangea was a good opportunity for everyone in the Tapptitude team to take a minute and think about why they enjoy working at Tapptitude. It’s also been a great way to evaluate the way we work, our relationship with our clients and other team members, and pinpoint areas that can still be improved on.

One thing we were extremely humbled to see is that we achieved a client score of 9.4 on Pangea. Client satisfaction is, of course, one of our main objectives, and we’re glad to see that our clients appreciate the way that we work and are satisfied with the results of our collaboration.
Gabriel and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They are a partner of ours and not outsourced guns for hire. Tapptitude has been with us from day one and will be with us for a long, long time.
Our goal at Tapptitude is to become a true product partner for our clients, which basically means we want to forge long-term collaborations where we take on the role of the internal product team, strategise together to create the best possible version of the product, and then plan and execute the day-to-day-implementation.
Luckily, the mobile app development world has evolved tremendously over the last decade, and there are now many more ways to build and go to market with a product. It’s extremely validating for us to get good feedback from our clients, and earn high scores from a trustworthy external valuation system like Pangea. It confirms that our working model truly works, that building with a product partner is something any startup should seriously consider, and gives us confidence to take on even more challenging projects.

We strive to achieve client satisfaction, but we’re also focused on making sure that every member of the TappSquad feels valued, has room to grow, and disconnects from work every day feeling satisfied and eager to take on the next project. Our verification process with Pangea earned us a team health score of 8.4, which we’re very proud of, but of course, we want to improve on it and get that number even higher.
Tapptitude is a special place to work – at least that’s what it feels like to be part of the team. Everyone has the opportunity to take on challenging and meaningful work, from small-scale tasks (learning from sprint to sprint) to large-scale projects (products that make a difference and improve the lives of the people who use them). We have team members across Europe and the United States, working autonomously, yet we still manage to have a tight-knit community and constant, open communication.
Whether we’re working on a daunting, challenging project, sharing knowledge on a call, or having fun together during a teambuilding event, we always focus on communication and transparency. By working hard and playing hard, we’ve managed to create a great, laid-back, yet professional vibe throughout the entire team, and we want to keep doing our best to make Tapptitude a great place to work and grow, in every way possible.
The experience of going through the verification process with Pangea was an important milestone for our team, as it gave us a chance to evaluate both our internal processes and our relationship with our clients. It was a great opportunity to validate our way of work as a product studio and product partner to our clients, and to pinpoint areas that could use improvement. We’re taking all the things we’ve learned and discovered during the process, and using them to further strengthen our communication with clients and team members alike.
